Loved working this puzzle. Pieces fit tightly which means the completed is puzzle looks great. One drawback is some pieces have a very small extension where the photo top peeled up. I did need to glue these pieces to protect them from further damage. Also the puzzle pieces were not bagged in the box.

I visited Borrego Springs to see what would most likely be 2024's last spring storm. Driving throughout the desert I found these teddy-bear cholla cacti just off Borrego Springs Road near its intersection with Yaqui Pass. Heavy clouds built looking northwest, I loved how sunlit cactus spines contrasted with deep shadows enveloping the landscape.
My first taste of photography was (seemingly ages ago) while taking an intro to photography course. There we learned the basics of shooting, darkroom development, and print with film. In following years I carried my Cannon AE-1 all over the world taking pictures for fun and memories. Upon an introduction to DSLRs, my devotion to photography exploded given the new possibilities I found for manipulating and personalizing images. What feeds this passion is the emotive capacity of art – its ability to evoke strong reactions from viewers. I could spend hours sifting through and losing myself in the work of Eugene Atget or Michael Kenna.
