This collage of vintage ephemera shows a tender moment of love between two elephants...elephant love is big love! The elephants are dressed in circus costumes and standing in a field of poppies and daisies as the bigger elephant, holding a daisy in its trunk, offers the flower to the smaller animal. Of course it's a perfect sunny day with a smiling sun beaming down on the couple.
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
