Vibrant colors burst forth, creating a kaleidoscope of hues that draw the viewer's eye into a mesmerizing swirl of energy. The colors range from fiery reds deep magenta and rich blues, symbolizing the spectrum of emotions and experiences present within the Gemini archetype.
Vibrant swirls of color flow around and behind a stylized female figure with green hair and a contemplative expression, highlighted by a bold red flower adorning her hair. Various patterns, including dots and squares, adorn the background, adding to the whimsical nature of the scene.
Contrasting with the vibrant colors, metallic accents of gold leaf and holographic foils add depth and texture to the painting catching the light and creating a unique shimmer across the canvas.
My most recent work draws more inspiration from color and texture than distinct subject matters, and my objective remains to imbue my canvasses with a sense of emotion. Through the intricate texture and vibrant color in my pieces, I aim to create a visceral response in the viewer; my hope is that the viewer may connect with them emotionally rather than through conscious, deliberate effort. In this way, viewers create their own interpretations through this initial connection, and the narrative of the piece becomes secondary. I was born and raised in Southeastern Michigan.
