I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I love the puzzle as I live in Shingletown. It was very difficult! But the letters that say "Gateway To Lassen" are CUT OFF it only shows part of the quotes. 🤦♀️ So disappointing! ☹ *See attached image.

But the difference lies in the destination, as well as in how fast they get a person there.
In the case of backroads, the journey to the destination is not a breathtakingly speedy one, one in which we drum our fingers on the steering wheel in our impatience to arrive, catapult out of the car, and rush off to do whatever is on our (long, long) list that day.
The journey, like the road itself, wends and winds its way through the landscape, and because this is not a car commercial, does not lend itself to racing car speeds. The road itself demands that we slow down, because it is frequently covered with gravel or, when it’s way off in the back country, consists of dirt rutted with potholes.
Sometimes, we’re convinced we could WALK faster. And sometimes, we’re right.
But when we find ourselv...
