My package was stolen from the mailbox on my road. The postoffice delivered it at 3:15 and by the time I came home, it was stolen. I contacted neighbors who saw it the day of delivery. This has never happened before on our country road. Sadly I cannot comment on the art nor take a picture. There is no insurance against theft. Rittenhouse Square was where I played endless hours as a little girl. Oh that such parts of life were not needed to be dealt with. Yet through this sad and unfortunate wrong, life is good. Blessings and peace to all.
This stained glass mosaic portrait of Christ was created for a donor of Saint Kilian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo, in gratitude of their generous donation to support the building of the new church, for which I also created the 9'-0" x 13'-0' Crucifixion altarpiece. Every piece is hand cut and the prints come out beautifully since I proofed this myself. It looks best on acrylic or metal, which captures more closely the reflective qualities of the original. Please note that the original is 18" x 18", so if you choose a larger size, while it is beautiful in itself, the individual pieces of glass will appear larger than they are in the original mosaic.
