I love the wolf. Because it represents the Gaurdian of all the land on the Earth. It also has the highest quality of life, freedom and the love from it's pack and family.

I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England

Artist's Description

Sayri Túpac (1535-1561) was an Inca ruler in Peru. After the murder of his parents, both by the Spaniard conquerors, he became the ruler of the Neo-Inca State in Vilcabamba. Viceroy Pedro de la Gasca offered to provide him with lands and houses in Cuzco if he would leave Vilcabamba. He accepted, but a relative died suddenly (bad omen) and he decided to remain in Vilcabamba. In 1556 a new Viceroy, Andrés Hurtado de Mendoza, believed it would be safer for the Spanish if Sayri Tupac could be enticed to live in the area of Spanish settlement, where the conquistadors could control him. The negotiations took time, but he agreed to leave Vilcabamba, renounce his claim to the Inca Empire and accept baptism, as Diego. He received a full pardon, the title of Prince of Yucay, and estates with rich revenues. He never returned to Vilcabamba and died suddenly in 1561.
