I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England
Creating a visual essay in oil colours about the essence of ultimate loveliness, was quite a challenge.
I imagined looking out from inside an ancient building, and designed a row of fancy perfume bottles for the foreground. The bottles are symbolic of beauty, but they also provided brand name spaces for the aroma of the Spirit of God. The open hands symbolise the offer of Jesus to radiate His character traits from the core of each one of us if we will yield to Him.
The original inspiration came as I compared Galations 5 v 22-23 with the emphasis on skin deep beauty that dominates much of our society.
Most of my paintings are executed in oils, often over the top of other media. Many are visual stories that contain partially hidden words or imagery where the homespun and the familiar become symbols of timeless truth. My hope is that you will discover additional levels of meaning as you look at the paintings closely. If you get inspired and encouraged by my art- If you can glimpse the great, overarching purpose behind life and creation- If you can catch facets of the wonder and beauty of God's character- If you can begin to see beyond the present- - Then my paintings have succeeded!
