Pixels Website And My Linked Domain Name

Hi All - Looking for some clarification please. Been a long time since I've set thing up, so my memory is not 100%.
My website, https://tompotterphotography.pixels.com/ having "Pixels" in the site title is the website that Pixels / FAA
created for me, correct? With the intent of appearing more professional, I bought the domain name "Tom Potter Photography.com"
thru GoDaddy so that people can just type that into a URL field, without having to include the word "Pixels". Then, as I recall, I had
"Tom Potter Photography.com" linked to "https://tompotterphotography.pixels.com". In the interest of cutting expenses, I'm considering
getting rid of the "Tom Potter Photography.com" domain with GoDaddy. If I do that, thereby no longer "owning" that domain name, will I
still be able to retain the "https://tompotterphotography.pixels.com" domain which FAA hosts / created for me?

Hope that makes sense......Thanks all in Advance, Tom :O)

Yes
The pixels site stays

The domain names are cheap
Why don’t you keep it?

You have not posted much in the last few years

Even if you post one picture day, you will have 365 after one year

But if you use a custom domain name you will need to secure it with Cloudflare.

I have been paying GoDaddy for years now for my custom domain name and I always had forwarding which used to work fine. Now I get the "not secure" warning. I have been ignoring this for a while but think I will just drop the custom domain because I don't want to get involved with Cloudflare. Too complicated.

You can't get the not secure label unless you are not forwarding to a secure address. Pixels is secure

Go to your forwarding and make sure it is HTTPS:// and not HTTP://

Thanks Abbie, I'll check.

Just checked and it does have the https. I just remembered the error occurs when using www.KarenZukRosenblatt.com. Unfortunately, that's what most people use and it is on all my literature and other websites links. It's cumbersome for people to have to type https.....

I thought you all said you can't forward a custom domain without going through Cloudflare? My custom domain name is KarenZukRosenblatt.com.

Forwarding is nothing to do with pointing.

Forwarding is just adding an URL to have the domain go to

Contact your domain host to find out why the www redirect is not working properly.

Pointing entails utilising the custom domain feature in the premium account, essentially exchanging and incorporating domains.

Yes. I had to add the www version to the forwarding.
Thank you.
